Yes I entered once in Vehicle photography once... Was discouraged due to low response :D
Same here with the same category. The winning posts were of amazing quality compared to mine, however the picture I used wasn't meant for glamour. This picture of the sunset was one of about 10-15 that I snapped all together and this was the best one. So sound advice would be to snap multiple pictures at different angles and study which one you like the most, and why.
@bitfiend Yes... I think I'll buy a camera too :)
