About 7 or 8 years ago my husband got a silver quarter as change from a vending machine. He noticed it was not like a regular quarter and looked up the year and discovered it was silver and worth more than .25 That was the start of our investment into silver! We have found a few silver dimes with a metal detector, we did get $100 in quarters and dimes from the bank and went through them to see if we could find any silver, no luck and we only did that once! If we would of found one we probably would of tried again.
