The first records of gold in the Drava River date back to the 6th century BC.
In that time, miners just remove half of meter of sand and they found gold nuggets.
Before world war 1 there was over 200 diggers.
Today, in Drava river is not enought gold for digging and only few people do gold panning in Drava. Those people do this only as hobby.
In Sloveina, gold can be found in Mura river too.
