Biological determinants of the personality: gender, type of nervous system and temperament, functional asymmetry of the brain. /part 3/
A strong type - these people are one of the types mentioned above, but they are complemented by some of the others. For this type of people, if there is no genetic condition, in this way the main contradiction is excitement and harassment, then the type that can be attributed to the process of growing the individual under the influence of the family environment, school, friendly circle, long emotional experiences, stress and more. . And so the stated physiological individual qualities of personality also define temperament as a specific organization of nervous physiological processes. The traditional psyche arises as a result of a long and complex evolution.
Her background covers the development of the reflective abilities of animals that are at different levels in the evolutionary ladder. The psyche phenomenon is incomparably rich, incredibly complex and infinitely varied. Psyche is unity, integrity or a system of psychological phenomena. The psychic of man is studied by different models, one of them being the traditional one, and it is divided into three substructures, which are: - psychic processes; - mental states; - mental qualities. One of the basic psychic qualities of the personality is temptation. It is the oldest psychic quality born as an idea in ancient Hellada, and is conjured up with Hippocrates. The temperament reflects the dynamics of the flow of mental processes. The characteristic that Hypocrates gives is not different from today, but differ only cause. He considers the body juices as sections: blood - sanguine; lymph - phlegmatic; black-bile - melancholic; yellow - choleric. Nowadays,some people defines the temperament as: strength, speed, balance of the main brain processes excitation and retention. From their combinations is determined the temperament of man: - Strong, fast, balanced - Sanguine. He has a tendency to enjoy, with a quick mind, slightly adapting to a new environment, capable of working. Easily change your feelings and interests;
Strong, slow, balanced - phlegmatic. Slightly sensitive, difficult to laugh or annoy. Efficient, durable, relaxed. Slowly focuses. Conservative, difficult to adapt to new conditions, not changing habits and habits; - strong, fast, unbalanced - choleric. Unbridled, insatiable, hot. With persistent aspirations, pursuing his goals, he has difficulty changing his interests, working with gushing energy. He does not tolerate monotony. It often explodes, it can also show aggression;- slow, weak, unbalanced - melancholic. Sentimental, highly sensitive, abusive, restless, closed. I'm scared, unsure of myself. Talk or laugh quietly. He is not energetic, he is quickly despairing, tired. These species most commonly occur as mixed types, almost non-pure, or if it is, it is almost an exception. Another thing, according to Jung, is that there are people whose eyes are directed to the outside world - extrovert/ choleric, sanguine / and inward - introverts / melancholic, phlegmatic /. Temperament is the inborn quality of a person and can not be said to be meaningful whether it is or not.
Although most psychologists emphasize the role of heredity in the determination of temperament, and some make it a determinant, characteristics, it is more important that temperament refers to a pattern of stable traits that characterize man. The temperament is placed between the personality as a whole and a distinct feature in terms of the breadth of the phenomenon. The temperament is shaped by infancy, as the child is far from passive in the midst, and partly provides precisely this, and influences the tone and responses in the family. The concept of the temperament that emerges from its exploration within the development perspective has expanded beyond the strict inheritance and permanence over time to a more phenomenological definition centered on style.
