Prison Break episode 3

I certainly hope that the series picks up because this was another quite boring episode that had a not-so-shocking ending of their initial "break" failing. Basically the first 2 episodes were completely based around the organizing of multiple things that needed to happen during the break and it failed anyway. Seeing as how there are at least 5 more episodes, this was not at all surprising and is kind of a problem I have with the series in general.

I was a bit excited to see that Theodore "T-bag" Bagwell was in this episode a bit (although not very much of it) donning his new robot hand. I certainly hope that they incorporate him into the episodes more as the season moves on because I still believe he is the best character in the show.

There is some dialogue where he states that his robot hand costs $1 million and I think that this is grossly undervalued. I think that if this technology existed and worked that it would be substantially more expensive than this. However, i suppose this is a minor detail.

I am still a bit irritated by the fact that everyone in the Yemen speaks perfect English and chooses to do so even when speaking with other people from Yemen. I may have to make a trip to that country in the future when things calm down a bit because i suppose getting around is a breeze due to the complete lack of language difficulties.

Maybe episode 4 will be more exciting but seeing as how the crew has already been caught breaking out once logic would dictate that security on the individuals involved would likely be tightened but i fear that will not be the case. Also, Michael has finally admitted to the people in the jail that he is actually Michael Scofield and not whoever he was pretending to be before (my apologies for not being more accurate, but it seemed like a minor issue.)

Basically, I am not wowed by this episode or even this season so far. I'm hoping that they have a twist in the near future that changes my opinion. I will continue watching but I can't really recommend this season based on what I have seen thus far.

Are you watching the reboot or the original version that aired in 2005? I'm asking because I can give you some insight. And while the character is probably the most horrible on the show, Robert Knepper, did an amazing job bringing "T Bag's" character to life and his backstory is heartwrenching. But that happens in Season 2 if you are watching the original airing of the show. I attempted to try to watch the new reboot and could not watch it. Perhaps because I'd seen the original before several times and knew which episodes or a season was not noteworthy. It sounds as if you are watching the reboot if they've escaped after the first few episodes and he has a robotic hand which is sad because you don't get the backstory of some of the interesting characters.

i should have been more specific. I am watching the latest season, number 5.

Did you watch it when it originally aired back in 2005?

The key difference between “The Liar” and the two previous episodes is that there was an attempt to flesh out some of Michael’s current cellmates. It wasn’t entirely successful, but at least they tried. One of the reasons that the new crew seems so remote is that it’s an open question as to whether Michael really cares about them. Sure, Michael saved Sid from the extremists, but it didn’t exactly seem to be an act of compassion. And when one of his team would have been left behind, Michael didn’t seem to be all that concerned.
What is apparent is that Whip bought into the idea of being Michael’s partner and surrogate brother, which is why he felt so threatened by the most recent turn of events. Right now, Prison Break has a bit of a villain problem. It’s really hard to take any of the antagonists seriously, from the cartoonish Abu Ramal to the inept agents chasing Sara around back in America. This episode also suggests that Paul Kellerman may be one of the key players in the new conspiracy, even though that flies in the face of his previous characterization on the show.

Hello, I'm sorry that there was not what you expected.
