#GetIllustrated Winner and Prompt #3!

Week 3.png

Welcome back to the #getillustrated challenge!

This week's winner is.....

@Debbietiyan!

Using the prompt "morning routine," she wrote Breakout. Anyone who's ever been in a life-sucking job will commiserate with this one. I love this story because Gabrielle hits that wall, and does something about it. I feel like so many people stay in that same, worn-out, awful place because of the fear of the unknown. Then they get their "Thank You For Your Thirty Years of Service" award and have to wonder...was any of that worth it?

I drew her main character, Gabrielle, at the moment right before the decision that snaps her into action.

Be sure to check out @debbietiyan and give her a virtual high-five for a job well done!

So, are you interested in getting on of your stories illustrated? Anyone can join!
Let's do it again!

The basic premise is this: we will post a prompt every week, inviting writers to make a short story or scene based on the idea. After seven days, I’ll select one story and make an illustration of it! If you're new to this new challenge, click here to read the introductory post that fully explains the rules.

Prompt #3:
The strangest situation I've ever been in

Once your story is written, be sure to tag it with #getillustrated and drop the link in the comments below this post. And be sure to check out each others’ stories, too! Resteem this post to share the fun!

So excited to see what you all come up with! I’ve been so encouraged, creatively, by the kind people out here who are making beautiful things, sharing their lives, and coming alongside our own journey. I can’t wait to finally return some of the favor.

You have until January 22nd to get your submission in. We’ll announce the third week’s illustrated story winner shortly after. See you then!

This is so amazing! everyone who knows me know how much I adore art. And to get my own character popped from my head into an image is pretty awesome!

Thank you so much @slhomestead, for giving Gabrielle a face, and I hope every other Gabrielle out there take a cue from her and get a lead on their life!

Thanks for an awesome entry. And AGREED!

Yes, most of the people are working under someone, they have the same feeling, means they live in doubtful world and live with fear of jobless life and live in burden and the sketch is portraying the true expressions. Thanks for sharing.

Have a great day and stay blessed.
