Geometry Challenge - Week 10 - Entry 1: Colourful cubes at the NGV triennial
The first photo is my entry to the Geometry challenge by @southsea.
About the work
Pascale Marthine Tayou is a self taught artist from Cameroon known for his colorful installations. This work shown at the National Gallery of Victoria Triennial is called Coloured stones (Pavés colorés), 2015. These stones represent the resistance of the people during times of social unrest such as the French Revolution. They are painted in different colours to represent different voices and allegiances. For more information see the NGV website.
