As you can see from the picture, I am "upside down" this afternoon, but it's in a really good way!

Once breakfast and morning snuggles with the Humans are over and done with, I tend to sneak off to check my Steemit... this morning, the Humans were doing some gardening, so it was easy to check in.

I tend to use Steemworld.org a lot to track ongoing information and interactions-- highly recommend it!

Then I noticed something was different...

Boy was it EVER different!

Exciting times!

There was a 410 SteemPower delegation on my account! Wow!!! That's almost TEN TIMES what I had when I went to sleep last night!

I Have a Surprise Benefactor!

I should add here that I have not leased SP, nor have I won any kind of contest that I know of... this simply appeared, out of the blue! And without fanfare or any kind of announcement.

My benefactor — @fukako — is a long-time Steemian who isn't even one of my "regular" followers; so all I can do is express my gratitude at her generosity! I shall do my very best to spread the kindness and "pay it forward!"

This opportunity is exciting to me because — after all — CURATOR Cat is more than just a clever name, it was at the root of my intentions when I started this blog on Steemit. Certainly, "cute cat pictures" were on my mind, but also finding and rewarding those who were creating and sharing their own original content. 

Of course, I've been doing what I can... but with my tiny "stake" my effectiveness has been limited. With this very generous delegation, I should be able to leave a lot more pawprints out there... and that's really awesome and makes me super excited and happy!

So that's the exciting news for today!

Synchronicity?

What's also interesting about it is the synchronicities of life: Just a couple of days ago, I posed the question of whether it's possible to get anywhere on Steemit without a system or gimmick.

In the same post, I also expressed some sadness that it seemed like more and more people were treating Steemit like a big "cash grab."

The timing on this was pretty amazing — like an "answer" had been served up to me, out of the blue!

There ARE people out there who care, and who are still involved in the social end of what Steemit is about. 

So I feel much better about that, too!
