Another Life of a Dreamer
I was never the one to speak, I would be the one that is lost in my thoughts. I was never the one to know a lot people, I would rather be the one to observe them. I was always a dreamer and that was not about to change.
Do you ever think about how there are over seven billion people living in this world and you will only get to view life through your own eyes , you will never truly know what it is like to live in somebody else's life, to view life in a different perspective and your perspective of life, the way you see life will never really change?
You live the life you live, meant to love the life you live and then you leave the life you live, the only life you ever knew and you will never know what it feels like to live in another life.
What is going through the mind of thief who just left a family hopeless and broke, the mind of a bully who causes pain for the people they don’t even know? What does a murder feel, ending the life, of a person that will never be able to live their life again? What is going through their brain, what do they think, what do they feel, seeing the body of person that they just killed?
It is all questions that could never be answered. I want to know what it feels like to live a different life with a different family, in a different house and go through different situations. What does truly feel like to walk in somebody else’s shoes?
Not that I am complaining about my own life, I live rather interesting life, nothing extraordinary, but certainly not ordinary. Just a young girl, living in the city, in a small apartment with my father and his new girlfriend of the week. I still enjoy my hobbies and the things I do but I can never stop my never-ending , constant thoughts.
I once read that a reader lives a thousand lives before they die and the one who does not will simply only live one.
That is what brought me to the bookstore that very day, walking through the book shelves and reading every description of every book I could find and still quietly observing the people, from the reader that falls in love with every book before reading it, to the person that could never find the book they are looking for.
I was standing there, a thousand thoughts going through my mind and that is when I collapsed to the ground, feeling the sharp pain in my back before my eyes closed but instead of the world going black, I opened my eyes, in a different body, viewing the world from a different perspective with a gun in my hand…...
Great story! The end had very interesting, unexpected twist.

No problem...I'm happy to. I've been thinking of picking a gedwriting post to feature each week on the podcast...ideally give some extra exposure/motivation.
I had them listen to the podcast and they are really excited. I told them to upload all their school projects to Steemit. You will see some stories and even science posts. They are really trying very hard. Some are in fact excellent writers! I am so proud of them!!!😀
That's awesome! I've been really impressed so far. I wanted to make sure they were front and center in the show this last weekend...they deserve it. It would have been sweet to have been a part of such a project back when I was in school.
I'm a huge fan of science posts myself. Outside my recent zoo pictures series, most of my posts have been science, technology and/or artificial intelligence related for a while. But I'll still try to keep my personal bias down, Lol.
It takes motivation, but they are busy gaining selfconfidence. Luckily they have me as a teacher and I am extremely open minded! Now they get to learn about crypto currency as well...a lot of flies with one swat!😂

Oh I can definitely understand the confidence side of things too. Prior to starting here I hadn't written a thing for at least 10 years prior, preferring talking and 'conversational learning.' It takes a little extra work when writing since you don't have the constant (non-verbal) feedback or the chance to ask 'did that make sense?' It all comes with time though. I don't claim to be an expert, but there's no denying my skill have increased since starting. At some point soon I plan to delve back into short stories and fiction again.
If helpful I did a non-technical explanation of crypto and blockchain some months back in this post. I was rather proud of this one as a good intro for the layperson. Even though some of the American specific analogies (like the dollar) may need tweaking.
I hope they don't mind my periodic 'constructive criticisms.' It's the sort of things I would have love to of been told early on here. Lol
It is after all a learning experience. I complain enough about their grammar, paragraph usage and spelling in class, so some constructive criticism is good!
Hehe, I didn't pay much attention to that when I was their age either. It's great to see the effort they're putting in and excited to see them progress!
