We save Hundreds of TONS of Trash from the Landfill Every Year
Look at this relatively small pile of perfectly good building materials we salvaged from the trash - it's just a tiny stack from the hundreds of TONS we save each year.
We're going to build useful structures and raised beds for ourselves and others in need out of this valuable "trash".
Had we not rescued this from the landfill, all of the resources that went into creating them - including priceless manpower and trees - would have been completely forsaken to go off to pollute the Earth.

Restaurants and grocery stores also have a lot of waste. A lot of it can be salvaged to feed the hungry, animals...etc. I went dumpster diving once. It was fun but I was scared I might get caught.
I hope all people can think of doing great things like this and steemit can be the instrument to makeit a success.

The waste of pallets is really quite disturbing. Gratefully we alchemize this waste into so many beneficial realities. Pallets are only one small slice of the bigger picture of waste. Thanks for raising the awareness and for saving so many valuable materials from the landfill. Sustainability at its finest!
