That caterpillar looks like it will be a black swallowtail butterfly if it is left to make a chrysalis! That looks like it was on dill - that's what the female black swallowtail lays her eggs on!

The beans are in the fridge, I ate some peas from the garden today and a zucchini too and the caterpillar was in the neighbours' garden :D

There were a few of them on the dill and they will be left on there as far as I know... I will keep an eye on them ;)
