It is quite hardy but doesn't like climatic extremes. Grows best in a cool, moist climate but here in Taupo, New Zealand it is hot and dry in the summer yet the plants grow very well. It also grows in most soil conditions which is good as our local soil is mostly pumice and volcanic ash.

Thanks, Very Helpful, I think its kinda impossible to plant it in extremely hot weather as north Africa lol

Maybe you can develop a strain that loves the sun. :) Or grow it under the shade of trees or manmade structures.
