GOURDS ON THE HOMESTEAD - VARIETIES THIS YEAR
Honestly, I wish we had even more kinds growing.
Gourds are often easy to grow and super useful too. We've got a variety of them growing this year, and many of them are doing rather well. We plan on even growing more kinds in the future, but are pleased with the ones we've got growing. Check them out!
GOURDS ON THE HOMESTEAD
Here are the varieties that we have which are already producing fruit. They are as follows; "Feed Scoop Gourd," "Ozark Nest Egg Gourd," "Snake Gourd," "Dipper Gourd," and "Birdhouse Gourd."
They all look so good. They are such satisfying veggies to grow to - so jungle looking in their crawling climbing nature 🌴💚😍
Are any or all of these edible??

The Snake Gourds are, but that might be it. We've got others on that way that should produce an edible fruit soon enough. We'll see.
What is the next gourd up on your list to grow?
Probably gotta get serious about the LUFFA, but the next one that should be coming in here is the Thai Bottle. Should be tasty.
Yeah, seems like if you are going to grow some then most of them you better be able to eat!
Hello my friend! :D
If I hadn't known those first ones were gourds, because you told me, not because I've ever had them before, I would have guessed they were maracas had the picture been taken in the house and they'd been in someones hands. :D
They all look very cool. :D How many types are you hoping to grow in total in the future? Its neat that you already have so many that are as big as they are. :D
God bless you and your wonderful family. :D Have an awesome day my fabulous friend! :D
