I will try this soon, I got a fish pump to use, but it has just one outlet that realeaes air into the water. Is it needed to have 2? for the right amount of air?

Hi brother @movingman!!! There's some debate amongst gardening "experts" on the best way to brew compost tea. When I first started I didn't even use an aerator, I just added compost and molasses to the bucket and let it sit for 24 hours. I grew HUGE tomatoes and endless cucumbers that year. However I wasn't using it on the leaves. I think that's where ya wanna be more careful. The two pump method is to make sure you get sufficient aeration to avoid growth of anaerobic bacteria. One pump typically doesn't do the trick. But I wouldn't let that stop you. IMHO, just do it as an experiment and for the experience if that's all you have. You'll be able to tell, if it smells off, toss it out. If not, then just to be safe don't spray it on stuff you plan on eating straight from the garden without thoroughly washing first. 😊 Keep us posted if you try it. And hey, thanks for the support 😊
Thanks for your reply! ive tried a few times and used normal compost teaeven made one from raw fish.. BURR, but want to see the mega effects of aerated tea :) Oh and folier feeding is great, but like you say... anyway I hope to grow some food this year, but we will see.. atleast get some things setup and running maybe hoping next year there is a spring hahaha!

"the right amount of air"....is provided by the surface tension of the water being broken. air uplift though the pipe.
