It's MICROBULATOR TIME!!!!! One way ...we feed our plants and soil.

Good evening fellow Steemians! We just wanted to share one of our favorite methods for creating a compost tea. There are so many methods out there..and this is just ONE! It's called....THE MICROBULATOR!!!!!!

Our son loves helping...us MICROBULATE! It's like making mud pies.....but better!

After ten years of trying many methods ...this one has worked best for us. HUGE gratitude to Mr. Tim Wilson on Youtube for sharing this method. I'll include Tim's video about how to build your own ..microbulator below. It changed the game for us! Our plants and soil respond with deep growth perhaps it will help some others out there in Steemit land!

Tim lays it ALL out in his video...HOW to create one. You can see the parts below....from our garden today.

Just a few parts needed. 5 gallon bucket, an eco plus commercial air pump, some air tubing.... a few pipe parts.... and a large rubber strap. We store these components in the bucket through the winter. We got it out today...to create a new tea and share with Steemit!

One of the reasons we like this design...is the air is lifted up the pipe and comes...down and breaks the surface tension of the water. Vortexial flow! Different bacteria and critters enjoy this airlift design over other designs. We have used methods like using small aquarium pumps with air stones attached and this is far superior in our opinion.

Above... you can see some of the things we add to our brewed compost tea. We use many different ingredients based on how we are feeling but one of the MAIN INGREDIENTS we use is comfrey from our garden. Below...our son peers into the bag of worm home grown worm castings. THE MAGIC SAUCE...of the compost tea!

After we are done adding ingredients to the microbulator....we let it....work away for a few days....until we see a nice bacterial foamy cap forming on top of the water. MORE...on what ingredients we use in the tea and how we apply it in our next post.
