The King is here!

Remember I showed you the very special Orchid buds a few days back?
Well, here it is... the flowers finally opened. Not fully yet, but I still wanted to take some shots of the half open ones. They look like tulips :) And the blooms... boy oh boy they are so pretty. I think they were bigger when I bought it 3 years ago. But it's fine. They are still very impressive and... they have amazing, floral fragrance.

Dendrobium Nobile Komet King

I wrote a whole story about this orchid in the previous post, so I will not repeat it. This time, let's just enjoy the blooms. I have two canes in bloom this year. From now on it will only get better and better every year (unless I kill it).

And here is a little spoiler of another orchid that is also currently in bloom... see the little one peaking in the corner? Yep... I have more than 1 orchid in bloom right now.
