MY GAMING EXPERIENCE CONTEST #1 GAMING: MY BEING AND COMFORTER AS A SMALL GIRL
Sincere greetings to everyone out there and a very special one to the organizer and judge of this lovely contest @jodipamungkas and @playfulfoodie for this great and rare privilege for making it possible for me to share my living experience YES!!! I say living experience because sincerely gaming has being my world right from infanthood and also a big shootout to the one behind the monetary wheel of this contest @donkeypong; so sit down tight and enjoy the gaming experience of this your small baby girl @holabisi.
MY GAMING BACKGROUND
Gaming to me is like a living because it has being in me right from my infanthood, I was born into a polygamous family where me, my mother and my sister live separately from the remaining family members and since my mother will never allowed me to go out to play with my mates being a girl and my sister was also in boarding school then so all I do was to sat down with my only friend and companion and my first was Super Mario then SEGA where there are some interested games such as international superstar soccer deluxe, double dragon, sonic and the likes and then the next on the line was my PC where I experience my best moment in the gaming world through Football manager 2009 then my Xbox which was also full of games from alphabet A to Z and now and lastly my laptop.
So gaming to me is more than just for the fun of playing it but rather my savior because when everyone around me left me behind as if I didn't exist at all the only thing that stand with me as my closest friend and never leave me till this very moment is this same game so tell me how do I write about my gaming experience without writing a full epistle about my past life because gaming has being my world right from age 5.
MY GAMING EXPERIENCE
My gaming experience dated back to the late 90s and there are several moments that can never leave me and will always stay as my most cherish memories, like the first time I reach level 8-4 in super Mario game and killed the last boss ooooh!!! That beautiful night I can't eat at home because I'm so full and my mum was so surprise that day because I have never been that happy before.
Then what of the day I get to Starlight too on Sonic hmm The feeling cannot be comprehend that day not to talk of the day I beat the hell out of a guy on international superstar soccer deluxe....a whopping 33-5 score line ooooh!!! being a very young and bright girl that day was like the day I was inaugurated as the queen of my area, come and see how I was carried by some set of men even my mum was so happy for me.
There are many other more gaming experience like that which provided sad, excited and funny moments but I am proud to say this that it was very rare for anybody to beat me in any game whatsoever the genre be it winning eleven, Pes, contra, mortal combat and the likes; I was always in charge and that’s why some people do call me freak girl in my area till this moment.
But my most standout experience in the gaming world was in 2009 when I purchased football manger game for the first time because my mum just bought desktop for me then, football manager 2009 was my first attempt in the football manager world and the one that change my gaming life for life because since then I have never miss any of it series even I’m already planning how I will get the latest football manager 2018 which was released on Friday [yesterday] November 10th 2017.
Football manager 2009 change my thinking faculty and give me the mindset of thinking very deep and weight every choices and decisions that comes my way in life before making any decision because of just one incident which happened on a Saturday morning {around 1am} on the 4th week I purchased the game, I just bought Marek Hamzik from Napoli and he was just a Wonderkid i.e young player below 21years of age but possess tremendous potential and I was playing Uefa championship final with Real Madrid [I`m managing Arsenal] and Alexander Hleb was injured in the 75th minutes and the score line was 1:0 in Madrid favour and the only attacking minded player on my bench was Hamzik so I have no choice than to sub him in but lo and behold Marek Hamzik scored the equalizing goal in the 82nd minutes and added another 2 goals in the added stoppage time and that was how I won the cup for my club for the first time in their history; I was more than happy that morning and I shouted that almost everyone in the building woke up around 1am in the morning and it doesn’t even bothered me at all because I was not amidst them anymore that morning and that was the only moment in my gaming history that I can explain over and over again without leaving or missing any word.
My gaming experience is one that’s so difficult for others to phantom because it’s so difficult for me too to even say how I get it into my blood so deep but I think it’s because while I have nobody it’s this game that come into my life and save me from boredom and become my being and personal companion.
Big shoutout to all my game lovers and fellow gamers in the building, people like mighty @donkeypong, my able curator @jodipamungkas, @playfulfoodie, @rerez, @tfame3865, @valency1, @dayjee, @ambmicheal, @otemzi, @nuges and all my unmentioned fellow gamers on this great community.
Keep on gaming because it bring smile to one face, eradicate sadness and at the same time invigorate one spirit and also increase one intellectual capability.
