Earth Squadron - Space Shooter -- Gameplay Video 2
I've been writing this game, so thought I'd post a few details here also to help gauge reception.
This is a quick video showing the latest gameplay in action
What have I added or changed in this:
- It's not show in the video, but there is a basic menu. It just has one button! Also it uses PlayerPrefs to store the score.
- Space Shooter Super Logo - made with CoolText.com
- Power ups - Energy, Points and Health can now be used
- Power ups can be dropped by the enemy - probability chance of being dropped for each can be assigned.
- Updated the axis for the enemy and the asteroids so the z axis faces down. I also had to update the movement and evasive scripts.
- I wrote a simple energy bar to place by the player ship. Made from 2 quads.
- Shows what wave the player is on.
- Some stats are recorded while playing - shots fired, shots on target, enemies killed, etc.
- Changed the text elements to use UI text elements.
