Tour of ''The Park''
At the outset mention that the game is short for a game of this type. The fun begins right in front of Atlantic Island Park amusement park. It turned out that a plush friend of Callum's liked the trip so much that he decided to stay in the park. When we talk to a security guard, the son sneaks behind our backs and goes back inside to find his friend. We follow him.
And it's not. Following the hero, we immerse ourselves deeper and deeper in a terrifying and crazy place that hides his secrets. We are looking for a son, but it is only a pretext for learning about a terrible story. Although searching for a son in an amusement park is a really bad idea, the story is about much more serious problems and dilemmas, including those that sit deep in the human subconscious. However, this does not change the fact that Park is a real threat from the very beginning. It is enough to look around the abandoned amusement park at night. To find our son's trail when we get lost we have the opportunity to call our son. The son responding to our phone describes exactly what he sees, leading us to the right place.
Locations, or at least some of them are just empty, so you can see that they are empty , some of them you can skip in search of your son. The musical setting is excellent - from the strange sounds coming from the speakers, through the predictions and standard for this genre "unexpected" appearance of strange elements. As a rule, it is known that something like this will happen in a moment, which does not mean that it will not be frightened. The fun is not long and we will finish it in two hours, looking into every nook and cranny as much as possible.
Graphically, the visual setting is on a high level. An abandoned amusement park looks terrifying in the middle of the night, but it has something beautiful about it - the moonlight illuminates everything with its glow, darkness additionally brightens up the lights of individual attractions. The whole thing may be liked, as well as the animations associated with the individual rides. The main character operates ridiculously with his hands, the graphic artists did not do their best in this matter. Also the fact that the programmers did not remember about the possibility of reading the text from letters or documents they found in neutral font and higher resolution. It was hard to read anything, and it was enough to add a possibility of exchanging chat as in Life is Strange. In the game we will also see a few movie interludes generated by the engine.
Personally, after almost two hours spent with The Park, I am satisfied. It was a very pleasant game, the production is so addictive and terrible that everyone who likes horror movies will love it. Developers gave us an exciting journey, short but very concise
