RIVAL KNIGHTS GAME REVIEW

Good day steemians, Welcome to my blog. Today we're going to do a game review on Rival Knights. In my last post was were I shared a game review on Neon shadow. You can still check it out here.
So today we will be doing a game review on Rival knights

Rival knights is an action game and a fantastic fun to play game which does plays really well in a nice way particularly from how well the game was designed to be with it's great and unique simple features on it too. The game is actually available for free and it has some simple nice graphics on it too. Here It also does allows you to play a campaign filled with most single player competitions, but also multiplayer battles.

There’s even also a bit of story added here, as every noble you fight also has some background to unveil. There’s a freemium aspect there that’s revealed via a bunch of seals that you’ll simply just use with each joust. There are actually also 6 seals available in it's single player mode, so you can only do 6 battles at one time, then you'll have to wait for them to respawn totally. There again after doing all the simple basic units on it You can also upgrade your horse, lance, helmet or armor or equally buy new ones, but be wary about the weight of the equipment, since not all horses can carry as much.

The gameplay just goes like the countdown beings in 3, 2, 1 and there you'll have to tap the screen at the right time to get a head start with a great speed. Then you have to get a meter right, as it spins around a semicircle area, much like a FIFA freekick minigame. The developers of this game actually are known to make some cool games and this one in particular is no exception at all. Its a jousting game with a tournament style where you'll have to defeat your enemies, and then upgrade your basic characters. Its also just a nice looking game and pretty realistic.

Its a free app to download so definitely you can just go by in checking it out overall. What Really makes rival Knights a success in this game is something not so confusing and actually speaking I really have to use the word again, but I also do appreciate that all of the data players need to make helpful decisions is displayed minimally and doesn't take away from the on-screen main actions of the game. The game's presentation of it's horsepower is also very satisfying in general and Every time it's players perfectly increase the speed at which to engage the battles, the motion blur does increases, building up to that unavoidable make-or-break moment for the jousters. And yes, I so enjoy that rag doll effect of the game in whichever rider is released from their steed but no frustration in my losses though as everything about the game seems quite good and very much easy to understand as well, so basically it's all nice in whatever way it might seem to be.

The storyline and the description aspect of the game is just about saying that on the game, There are troubled times for you & your people. Your kingdom is in debt, the king slain in war, no one has claimed the Champions' Thrones, & enemy clans are massing at the kingdom's borders.

While playing the game and doing it's simple basics of activities, there you'd also Experience the thrill of fast-paced & highly addictive jousting for free as well as sharpening your war skills with precision timing & aim which all of this are actually what added up to the feel and fun part of the game entirely. The game also does features a lot more of many components on the game and to it's best standards is that it actually features a Stunning console-quality graphics, a first-class voice acting and typically also an Hollywood-grade audio production which is quite good on its basics as all of this literally adds up to the feel and general part of the game. As much as the game concerns, it feels more like a DMC at times, it also seems to have picked up a few lessons from the Ninja Gaiden and the God Of War game. Your suit can't jump, but it does do a pretty mean combat roll.

This game was released on the June 16 2014 and looking at this date, it is actually showing that the game was released for quite a long time now as probably it was released like say 4 years ago but it's quite to say that ever since the game was released they've been doing quite good since then both on the visibility aspect of it and the positive reviews and every nice good comments made by it's users all were absolutely encouraging to see cause actually lots of people really liked the game so much so that equally makes no much difference on it though. Talking about the visibility aspect of the game, right now the Game has a maximum total of about 5 million downloads on play store and still counting as well cause literally it's a game that is been liked by all for the fantastic way it plays and all other things about it both the positive reviews and comments made by the users who've actually played the game. So There again, it's really a great game and another fun thing about it and why I loved it this much is because there wasn't much of any negative reviews about it or Rather I'll say there wasn't at all. So generally it's all an excellent game with one of the best graphical designs on it as well.

The game was also created and developed by Gameloft which as well are the fantastic game developers of other great games like the brothers in arms game, the six guns shadow game, the nova legacy game, the age of Sparta game, the danger dash game and the last but not the least which is the Dungeon hunter 4 game. So actually speaking their games are all good and played quite well in a fantastic different way from other games and basically they deal more on developing fantastic action games so there's actually a bit difference there cause all has it's way of reasoning about it.

So after the release of the game were some few features and factors that got added up to it which added up in making the game to become a more fantastic one like it is now. So here are the newly things and features that just got fixed and added up to the game; there's now more support to even more gamepads, they've added the app exit button on it's main menu, they've Added support for some Adreno 22x devices such as US Galaxy S3 device, there's a lot More of Performance enhancements on the game now and lastly there's now Fixes for various devices and OS versions. So in general as everything got fixed and new features added to the game I'm quite sure it really made a lot difference and now the game functions well in an appropriate way it should though even without this features the game is still a standard action game that plays very well in a fantastic way too.

GAMEPLAY

Speaking about the gameplay, actually here the gameplay aspect of this game is typically just a Nice one and fantastic overall, there's actually More about the game and it's gameplay too as it does plays normally in it's perfect way directly from how the game was designed to be, but there again it's quite to say that the developers Really did a good job on the game, which is why every part of it sounded so much good and well standard perfectly in a nice way and thereabouts.

Most of the missions you'll meet on this game also will equally have you to either fighting your way to a point of lifting up your horse to use and fight the bad enemies or may be defending an area from invasions, though the boss missions where you take on more difficult enemies are basically at times been situated at the end part of each of the game’s four chapters and On your way there however, you’ll regularly be locked in areas with electric fences, or could be put in via the multiple doorways forced to fight a group of enemies before you'll be able to progress strategically.

There on the game and while playing it, You can simply upgrade your horse, lance, the helmet or it's armor, you can also choose to buy new ones as well, but just be wary about the weight of the equipment, since not all horses on the game can easily carry as much as everything the game does needs entirely. Although the App is actually free to play, there is the option for the in game purchases. Basically you can purchase more gold and gems for real money there and Obviously this means certain people will have an advantage in the game through purchasing the best and better equipments, but note that This doesn’t mean you cannot enjoy the game for free however. So overall it's all a great game and a fantastic one at that too, so the gameplay is quite intense and fun to play.

GRAPHICS

Speaking about the graphics, here the graphical aspect of this game is generally a Nice one and a fantastic one to really look at entirely. The game does quite a lot of things on it and it's basically also equipped with many of standards which all adds to the feel and fun part of the game and I've always loved the game and it's graphics no matter the odds and anyhow bad it might actually seem to be although there's equally much of positive aspect more than the negative aspect and as well tends to make the game a great one to play. The designs on it's environments are Nice overall and I really do like the designated part of it that looked a bit low with a stipulated amount of what it usually seem to look like. The smooth character designs are all good and seems so perfect. They really do move fluidly and look so much good as well. Also, The models are all Nice and it's textures aren't too blurry. The simple blood aspect is very realistic too which is why it splatters and stays there for the entire rest of the game. The few odds about the game is just about saying that there are quite a few graphical glitches and some clipping problems. but generally it's mostly a good looking game in the general aspect of it. So the graphics is nice overall.

SOUND

Speaking about the sound, actually here the sound aspect of this rival Knights game is really a fantastic one as it does sounded so much great which is quite good to hear of when playing the game cause there's actually a lot of good things to talk about on the sound aspect of the game which generally is perfect and all are great and just a few of bad aspect been developed inside the storyline of the game's mode. It's really just a great game with an excellent sound at that. The sound effects are generally great overall and sounded so realistic. the noises been heard from the players as at when playing the game and the general aspect of the enemies are brilliantly designed. The soundtrack actually isn't all there though but typically it all came through and added up to the feel and fun aspect of the game. The voice acting as well is moderate at it's best but can be forced and stiff most times, so in overall the sound aspect of the game is just a fun fantastic one that adds to the feel of the game in general.

FINAL WORD

In overall, this rival Knights game is really a great and fun fighting game that does plays awesomely in a Nice perfect way it should though there could totally be more about the game as it's simply just one basic and outstanding game to play. The game is simply just too basic, and too much limited by its business models, to warrant investing time in the game. But while you may get some kicks in having it on your device and playing it when the mood strikes, there’s simply no good glory in this joust. So generally speaking if you're a lover of such fantastic games like this, I'll gladly recommend this game for you so go check it out overall, thanks!!
