I guess the money aspect causes it to a degree; people are scared of ruffling any feathers, so they just go with the safest option.

Its not just about being edgy. Its about people who do good content.

I share Cyberdemons opinion as well. There are very few actual content creators on steemit as it stands right now. And the few times one does show up they dont get the red carpet treatment they deserve.
