You Can Finally Play The Original Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Online Once Again!
When GameSpy shut its doors back in 2013, a number of classic games lost their online multiplayer capabilities and as a result, numerous communities and games sadly died with the closure of GameSpy.
While it was still possible to create custom servers for certain games including the original Star Wars: Battlefront 2, it took a lot of know how and was too much effort for a lot of gamers meaning only the most hardcore fans continued to play.
Thankfully, those days seem to behind us as the guys over at GOG have teamed up with Disney to help bring online multiplayer back to Star Wars: Battlefront 2 thanks to a small update they have just released.
The update is for the GOG version of Battlefront 2 which you can grab right now at 60% off for just a mere £3.19. That's not a bad price considering you get online multiplayer as well! After this sale, its price will return to £7.89.
Hopefully we will see more classic games like this get their online multiplayer back!

Too cool! The original Battlefront games were fantastic, it's a shame the EA versions aren't nearly as good.
