So as I haven't officially done it, this is my current avatar in SOA. For a while in gaming I typically play a green haired skinny chick as female shoulders are thinner and easier to see around. And if I'm going to be staring at the back of a toon for hours on end I'd rather stare at a chick, just being honest.
Red chests are awesome. After boss monsters or area objective monsters you will often find chests which are some of the best equipment upgrades you can get at this point in the game.
As you can see why you adventure you will encounter other "player characters" in the wild. When you fibd boss monsters it is often beneficial to let them start the fight and begin tanking it for you. They're there for you to use so you should probably use them.
The battle palette is entirely customizable. You can set key actions to button presses and button presses with directional movement to better assist using your skills in battle. At about this point in the game you actually start to have skills that make the palette useful.
Teleport Stones can be found throughout the different areas and are the means of fast travel within the game. There are quick way back to town or quick way to another area that you've previously been.
When it comes to the blacksmith in scale you don't necessarily have this yourself. What you do is you utilize the NPC blacksmith and their level by increasing your equipment with items that you have to find in the wild and from drops. Different blacksmiths excel at different skills which means you will be upping quite a few blacksmiths in order to fully maximize your equipment. I find this to be a pretty neat twists on an an upgrade system as it takes the interaction with these supposed guildmates and NPC's in this virtual world to increase your equipment. Just another way that SOA attempts to pull you into the feeling of being in a virtual MMO.
And that's about all I got for now, I hope you enjoyed. Feel free to follow for more, I always love comments. Thanks for reading part 3. Check out my page at https://steemit.com/@rotfoot for more gaming related things that I post about!
Posting this from eSteem, the app that does it all. I recommend it highly!
