Your wallet is going to be hurting again this month, with plenty of great releases hitting the Nintendo Switch this month. Let’s take a look at the some of the high-profile physical releases coming to the Nintendo Switch in June 2018.

JUNE 5


Happy Birthdays - $39.99

What happens when you take Sim Earth and Minecraft and throw them in the blender? Happy Birthdays puts you in control of a little ecosystem that you can develop into thriving habitats for creatures to grow and evolve.

JUNE 8


Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido - $49.99

This action/puzzle/RPG mashup title has you fighting against enemies and bosses to eat and match sushi plates in this fast and frantic action title, with competitive online play.

JUNE 17


Flashback - $19.99

This classic game is getting a modern re-release on the Switch, at a budget price of $20. This updated version of this Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis title brings us the original game, plus modern features like graphic filters, updated music and sounds and in game tutorials.

In addition, a Collector’s Edition will also be available for $39.99 that includes a SNES cartridge-style metal case, retro instruction manual, digital soundtrack and a metal collectors card.

Minecraft - $29.99

The legendary title was previously available on the Switch digitally, but its going to be made available in a physical format later this month. If you don’t know what Minecraft is at this point, I don’t know what to tell you.

JUNE 22


Mario Tennis Aces - $59.99

The first Switch entry in the Mario sports series brings a creative and highly polished arcade-style tennis game. With online play, tournament mode and an adventure mode to mix up the gameplay with a new spin on the sport.

Wolfenstein II: The New Collossus - $59.99

After the amazing port we received in November of DOOM, Bethesda and the wizards at Panic Button have found a way to port the AAA title down into the Switch with few compromises. This is a must-own game for fans of FPS games.

I have preordered the Flashback Collectors Edition and i will definitely get Mario Tennis Aces. Not sure about Wolfenstein yet, the only good FPS on a console so far was Resident Evil 4 Wii...if it comes with motion controls, I am in!

Ok, I just read that Wolfenstein will come with motion controls. Well, that will indeed be an expensive month :)

They did add them to DOOM earlier this year. It lets you control aiming by tilting the Joycons. I couldn't get the hang of it, but some people loved the motion aiming control scheme.

Oh, i did not know that, maybe I will give DOOM a try after all, thanx!
