Paragon MOBA discontinued
With Paragon Epic Games tried to catch up with MOBA Kings like League of Legends or SMITE. However it never really fired up and will be discontinued on April 26th 2018.
Epic communicated, that the success wasn't large enough to make the game a breakthrough. Paragon just failed to bind new players permanently, despite all efforts.
The game had quite a few updates, but none of them could find a way to bring the sustainable gameplay like SMITE. Epic said the problem was neither marketing nor monetization.
All players on all plattforms will be reimbursed the purchase price for "Founder Packages", which were required for the early access phase. The refund is being executed by the developer studio directly. For this reason, the user account must be connected to an Epic account on Xbox and PlayStation. Only then can the refund be requested.
Paragons servers will still be running until April, but the refunds will weaken the playerbase and matchmaking.

Nice post! I don't think its ever a good decision to shut of servers and rip a game away from the few that must have loved the game!
Yea it is a hard decision, but the MOBA market is hard.
