Deus Ex Games

in #gaming8 years ago

Deus Ex is one of my favorite franchises, I enjoyed every game in this cyberpunk series. If you are unfamiliar with cyberpunk, that is the setting of not too distant future where humans are on the brink of merging with machines and in almost every cyberpunk story there is a conflict on how should human race continue. Deus Ex games touched on almost every cyberpunk topic and every game can offer something interesting to the fan of the genre. Deus Ex games are first person shooter/role playing games, develop skills and implants as JC Denton or Adam Jensen while doing various main story or side quests. At the end of every Deus Ex game your character should feel like some kind of cyber demigod. Every Deus Ex game right here on Steemit.

Deus Ex

Deus Ex is one of the best games ever crated, true gaming classic if there is one. We play as JC Denton, anti terrorist fully augmented agent trying to find out who are the big players in conspiracy he found himself into. Deus Ex is atmospheric cyberpunk mix of shooter and RPG that is still worth playing.

Deus Ex: Invisible war

For many gamers this sequel didn't deliver on the promised. I liked it though, being the fan of cyberpunk, and at the time there were not many games touching that subject. Deus Ex 2 had weaker gameplay if you compare it to the 1st game, but it was not that bad when you get used to the new mechanics. In this one we play as Alex D. newbie with the great potential that found himself inside larger conspiracy game.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Human Revolution is a prequel to the original Deus Ex games where we play as a new protagonist, Adam Jensen, augmented human who is trying to figure out who is behind an attack on his company where he works as a security agent, meanwhile he discovers deeper plot that involves every augmented person on the planet. Gameplay is great with lots of augmentations to chose from, you can choose stealth approach or go guns blazing terminator. He never asked for that.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

Few years after the happenings from Human Revolution, Mankind got Divided. One of the best looking game I've ever played (ninja PC required). Devs really outdid themselves with all the attention to details in this game. This is a game about discovering who is behind terrorist attacks and in doing so finding who Adam Jensen is, just as you find out that game ends way too soon. Let's just hope we will see more of this fascinating cyberpunk story.

I'm actually one of the few people who will agree with you that Invisible War is a bit underrated. I've never owned it myself, but I've played it with a buddy a lot back in the day.

It's not absolutely terrible like people say.

Deus Ex is a great game, though. It's so interesting in the sense that Deus Ex doesn't excell in a lot of things, but it does such a plethora of things really well that it holds up.

It has this charm that's not rivaled by many games; the dark and gritty world where the sun never shines, everything is ugly and hopeless.

Love it.

Agree, every Deus Ex game is worth it. If games were like women I would marry each and every one of these :)
