Batman Arkham Games
Batman: Arkham is AAA game series massively popular today. It's a multi platform game series meaning you can play it anywhere, on PC, Playstation or Xbox. Game series based on good old DC Comics hero Batman and his attempts to stop supervillain and human scum of Gotham City. All games are detective and action based where Bats needs to analyze the environments and solve puzzles and in between all those puzzles beat the heck out of bad guys. Great graphics, story, action and puzzle solving are main features of Batman: Arkham games. If you like our masked vigilante check this series out.
Batman: Arkham Asylum
First game was released in 2009 by Rocksteady Studios and they are behind most of the new Batman games. Arkham Ayslum is an Action Adventure game featuring Batman trapped in insane Arkham Asylum filled with many villains from Batman universe. Main villain in this game was Joker with bombs planted all over the city and Batman goal was to get him inside the Arkham Asylum that was taken by the patients and lunatics locked inside. He would fight though many bad guys until he gets to the Joker. Game is all about Batman gadgets and detective skills, as well as stealth and martial arts moves. Fighting is done in combo chains and as the game progresses Bats will learn some new moves and discover new gadgets. Great start for this very detailed and fun game series.
Batman: Arkham City
Following the success of the first game, second game was released in 2011 and new playground this time is the whole Arkham City. Jumping around and gliding from tall buildings is one of this game's most fun features, while doing so you will feel like the real deal. That part is done great. Story in Arkham City is revolving around Hugo Strange and his reveal of Batman identity and Joker doing his evil deeds, being Batman is not easy. Again it is all about using Batman detective and stealth skills, as well as fighting skills when it needs be done. Character models and overall look of the game is spectacular and worth playing again and again.
Batman: Arkham Origins
This is a prequel to Arkham Asylum released in 2013 by different game studio and you can definitely tell in the game. It's melee was not as fluid, and story not as compelling as any other game in the series. It was made quickly to earn a quick buck. It's not all bad though if you like Bats and his adventures, more of the same is always welcome. Play this one only if you really need to.
Batman: Arkham Knight
Last game in the series was released in 2015 and the game was epic in every way. Big part of Gotham City is there for players to explore and with rich side and main mission story quests there is a lot to do in this game. Scarecrow is the main villain in Arkham Knight as he is threatening to unleash his potent new fear toxin on Gotham City population. I didn't like the detective mode segments as much in this game but I felt like the Batmobile more than made up for it. Batmobile is essentially a Tank with so many hidden guns and capabilities, every time you jump in you will have a big geeky smile on your face. Melee fighting was tight as well as his many special gadgets in addition of some new ones. This is a content rich game if there ever was one and the series as a whole is a must play.
I'm not the biggest Batman fan (More of a Marvel guy), but I recently bought Arkham City. I have yet to try it out, since I bought a few other games, as well. But I'm excited to give it a try, people have really being putting it over as a great game.
I think Batman is a good superhero for a videogame, since he lacks superpowers. Superpowers are often hard to pull off in a videogame, which is why there are so few good superhero games.
By the way, I'd like to see you review or give a retrospective on some bad games, as well. :p

I remember playing an absolutely god awful Superman game for the Nintendo 64 back in the day. I still have nightmares sometimes.
Batman is one of the rare characters from DC Comics that I tolerate. Marvel is my go to always. However, this game series is one of the best ones in last 8 years or so with very high production value.
Damn, there were some really bad superhero games over the years. I might just write something about them these days. Steemit will be here for a long time, so there is time :)
