What I mean by party games is when you have multiple friends over and want to have some good local multiplayer fun. So I will show you what I think are the most fun party games. So lets start listing stuff 

10. Mount Your Friends 

          As gross as Mount Your Friends sounds it is actually a fun game. Each player controls ragdoll people and they must  pile up on top of a goat and see who can make the tower of men higher. This game can be hilarious especially when the lower man area is swinging around a lot. It is a fun inexpensive game you and your friends can play. 

9. SpeedRunners  

         SpeedRunners is a fast paced multiplayer racing game, but its not your typical racing game. You play as superheros and you must run around the map. In order to win you must get your opponents out of the camera view so they die. There are many power ups and speed boosts to use against your competition. Each player also gets a grappling hook which can be used in certain areas to swing you ahead of the enemy. This game offers a lot of  fun competitiveness that will leave you punching your friends in order to mess them up because they won't freaking die. 

8. Gang Beasts 

              In gang beasts each player plays as a little rubber man which can be dressed in funny costumes. The goal of this game is to throw the other players off the map and into eternal death. This game is hilarious because of the ragdoll physics and how silly these little people look  when they try to fight. You can be punching the shit out of someone and knock them out, then when you try to throw them off the map they can wake up and hold onto you and somehow they throw you off the map. This game is just pure fun. 

7. Jackbox Party Pack 2 

               I have only played this Jacbox Party Pack but I love it. All of the games are fun by my favorites are Quiplash, Bidiots, and Bombcorp. Quiplash is probably the best because each player is given questions and they must write the answer and then players vote on  the best answer. Bidiots is funny because it requires you to draw what is described too you and then your painting will go off to auction and you will need to figure out what painting is worth more. Bomb Corp is very similar to Keep Talking and Nobody explodes, you and your partners need to work together at your new job at bomb corp. If you mess up your job, you will explode even if you are filing papers, it is hilarious. You need a computer to host the games and the players control everything on their phones. This party pack is absolutely a blast I highly recommend this to anyone having a bunch of friends over. 

6. Wii Sports 

                 Everybody has played the famous game that came with the Wii which was the coolest thing ever 10 years ago. Wii sports was fantastic it showed off 5 sports which include baseball, bowling, boxing, golf, and tennis. My favorites were probably bowling and boxing. This game was great when friends were over because it give you some great  motion gaming competition. Just letting you all know I was a pro in  bowling and I had the shimy bowling ball, so that means I am pretty much the best bowler ever. This game is still fun and I love coming back to it.

5. Halo Series 

            I mainly played Halo 3 and Reach because they both had really fun multiplayer. So me and my friends would create the craziest game modes and they would be a lot of fun. We would play infected with zombies that had almost no gravity so they move fast and can pretty much fly and the last survivor would have had 8 overshields and a gravity hammer. We would love creating crazy modes like this one because we had a lot of fun with them. Some of the best gaming memories with my friends have come from all these crazy halo games we made. 

4. Mario Party Series 

          The Mario Party games are great party games, they literally have party in the name of the game. For me Mario Party 7 is the one I have played the most. Mario Party games are essentially board games, so you choose your character then you roll dice and then depending on what space you land on you can perform actions or get screwed. Then after everybody takes a turn there is a mini game round where you all play fun mini games. Mini games can vary from playing against each other, to everybody is on the same team, or  its everybody vs one player. Most of the mini games are really fun whiles some are stupid but it makes this game great. These games are really great party games.

3. Rockband Series 

            Rockband is fantastically fun, you and your friends get to feel like rock stars playing on controllers that look like musical instruments. I can play Rockband for hours with the right group of friends, but generally everyone fights to play the drums. You play great songs  but most of them you never heard of until you played them on Rockband. Some people like Guitar Hero more, I really prefer Rockband, because I have played Rockband much more than Guitar Hero. If you shred the guitar in Rockband, you automatically know how to play a real guitar because real guitars have 5 buttons on the neck, right? These are great games and a lot of cool music to play with friends and you will feel like Rock Gods until your hands hurt from hitting the drums too hard.  

2. Mario Kart Series 

             I know I have talked about Mario Kart a lot in my other lists but I love these games. The thrill you get for trying to hit your buddies with items is amazing. I freaking love beating my friends in these games because I get to remind them of their embarrassing attempt to overthrow me as Mario Kart King. These games are the most fun when you play against someone who is around the same skill level as you, or when the races are close, and of course when there are items flying at everyone from every direction. Mario Kart is one of the best games to play with friends because it is fast paced competitive game play.

1. Super Smash Bros Series 

           The Super Smash Bros games are in my opinion is the best fighting game series. Smash Bros is great for button mashers and pros a like. There are multiple people on a platform style map and you fight to the death with Nintendo characters. This is my favorite game to play when I get together with other people. Even if your getting destroyed your having fun trying to throw random items at people. The amount of characters in each of these games are great, there are a bunch of options. They all play differently and all have their own unique skill sets. Smash Bros is the ultimate party game because you and your friends will never want to stop trying to kill each other.
