Gaming Discussion - Let Me Know In The Comments Which Era Best Suits You?
Hello Fellow Steemian Gamers,
I'm starting to get back to normality and hoping to bring you a few posts tonight but wanted to start with a fun little discussion for you all.
For me it really was the early 90's that really brought gaming to my attention I was lucky enough to own a Sega master system that my mum bought and used to spend hours playing Sonic on that.
I remember I used to play before school and then I would pause the game so I could pick it back up when I got home. This was back when you couldn't save the game so it was the only way you could continue playing.
Although I started gaming in the 90's and carried on throughout my childhood it was the early Naughtys that really pulled me in. With the advancements in graphics and the inclusion of multiplayer I was hooked and I'm were I am today because of it.
This one for me I was all about Streets of Rage! :D
Great choice dude loved that game.
Probably a mix between late 90s early 00s! CIV 3 and COD 1/2 started me on the path!
Great eras dude. They made us who we are now.
I played the 80s games in the early 00s era, that was my beginning to game. And played early 00s games in late 00s (or modern? I don't know) era, that was when I got into gaming more than before. Ugh, I always late, up until now..
It sounds like your path into gaming is very similar to mine dude which is awesome!!

Hell, spanned them all. From a bunch in the eighties (including text based adventure games) to Nintendo 64 to Wii to Xbox 360. And always computer based games up to today (on Steam). And always the “just one more level, honey” turning into six hours. But it’s been one hell of a fun ride!
