The game is about
SpellForce 3: Soul Harvest puts us three years after the War of Purity, in a Nortander that is going through some good times, but that are muddied by new developments.
We will embody General Aerev who lost his regiment and let them slaughter a complete city for the orcs but who does not remember how. Aerev tries to revive those memories of the past with the help of a dream weaver as he returns to his homeland as the Queen has summoned him in the Gray Fortress
We will be immersed fighting our own demons, but also in a war of many fronts: A sorcerer threatens to destroy the kingdom of the dwarves, an enigmatic cult of the dark elves harvests the souls of people for unknown reasons and many secondary stories will be waiting for our trip

My opinion after playing
If you liked SpellForce 3, this SpellForce 3: Soul Harvest will delight you as it improves in many ways the original.
That they have taken it as an independent expansion is interesting since it can be enjoyed in its entirety without having played the previous installments.
On the other hand, all current owners of SpellForce 3 have a discount of 40% on the price of Soul Harvest for Steam. For the rest of users who want to enter fully the franchise through this delivery, we will have a discount of 40% in the package SpellForce 3 and SpellForce 3: Soul Harvest for Steam.
From my humble opinion, I think you have game for a while, but if we have to throw something in his face I would emphasize that; the screens of load in the changes of zones are quite slow and you descuelgan a little of the immersion. Also the units do strange things in the narrow areas, and as I said, is missing some more slots for skills and active heroes. The story is not bad and it keeps you awake the interest along with improving the characters with new equipment.
