Paperboy - A game that started an adventure
Everything in life has a beginning, my taste for video games has existed since I was 4 years old, I played with my brother with an Atari 2600, I still remember it as if it was yesterday, the game of Skiing was our favorite, however, despite being my first console I did not have that love I felt with my second console, the Nintendo Entertainment System.
There were many games I could play in it, from Super Mario Bros began a determination to discover new titles, see each of its levels and in turn be able to observe those great finals, but there was a game that was the mouth opener for what would be one of my favorite hobbies, cycling.
Paperboy was one of those games that at first did not understand much, with a little practice I understood that the goal was very simple, dodge everything that obstructed the passage of our character, this way we could throw the newspapers to the houses, depending on our aim we get a certain amount of points, if we hit the door or the mailbox gave you a considerable score.

Since I played that video game the love for bicycles began to grow, my brother had an abandoned bike, so I asked my father to help me fix it because I wanted to learn, between falls, scratches and so on I achieved the goal, to be able to ride a bicycle.
But this was not left with a simple desire to learn to handle this type of transport, as I grew older I explored other larger models, such as road bikes, which can reach really incredible speeds, and the classic mountaineers, where you can test your endurance in huge climbs.
I always looked at other people's bicycles on the different routes I did, I was very impressed because mine, although I liked and loved it, was something simple, this led me to set a new goal, get a bike similar to those, it was only a matter of time and dedication to achieve it.
Currently I continue pedaling throughout the city, reaching as far as my legs allow, reaching places with really beautiful views. Getting to the top of an ascent is a satisfaction that is very difficult to describe.
It's amazing how such a simple game can guide you to a very interesting path in life, maybe if I hadn't played it none of this would have happened, but the important thing is that it gave me to know one of the sports that I have had the most fun in all my life, thanks Paperboy.

See You!!!
Loved this game as a kid.

Hey, @gabox.
It's amazing how the love of one thing can lead to the love of another.
I've enjoyed playing various video games over the years, but I don't have that kind of attachment to something in the real world. The closest would probably be football, but it's not something I do anymore, and I never played beyond the school playgrounds.
Cycling, though, is something I could get into. I once had a very nice mountain bike, a few years after they became popular. It was very nice. Unfortunately, it was stolen about two months after I bought it. :) I had another bike stolen off out of our backyard. Never did get either of those back.
Now, I would need a special seat to sit on. I can't handle those thin hard seats anymore. :)
Hello @glenalbrethsen, well my recommendation to adapt a little to what is cycling is to practice Spining, helps you a lot, especially to recover the resistance in the legs and cardio, there are also gel linings very good for the seats, it is never too late to start.
