It appears to have highly inspired the guys who made Friday the 13th. If you haven't seen it yet, you might wanna give it a watch. It's worth it!
Ah, I see. A free game, that explains a lot. I thought it looked and felt way older ( and not necessarily in a good way ). Must be fun to play this multiplayer with friends. I really miss gaming these days!
