Countdown To Steam Winter Sale ~Get Your Mystery Cards Now~

Every year at this time I start eagerly waiting for the Steam Winter sale. Not only the sales are almost always good, but it's also an opportunity to get some pocket money to use to purchase my next game.

It's the trading cards that you can collect while the sale is going on. In most sales, they are gotten by viewing the games on your discovery queue each day. They can be sold at the Steam market (the price changes each year,) or used to increase your Steam level.

You Can Get The Mystery Cards Now

One thing I think most people don't know about the cards is that they are available before the sale gets started. At this time you can get them through creating new badges. It's not really profitable to collect them this way but if you're creating a badge anyway to increase your level, it's not bad to get these cards as a bonus.

So, this year mystery cards have arrived and it's a signal that the sale is near, the website WhenIsTheNextSteamSale.com predicts that it'll be six days from now, on Dec 20. But it's not confirmed by Valve yet, it'll most likely be sometime at these days though.

By the way, if you're interested in Steam cards and badges you might like SteamLvlUp (<- ref link) a website I use to sell my cards and exchange them for keys (which can be exchanged with money.)
