Problems of the gaming industry today (written by an experienced avid gamer)

Everybody knows that the gaming industry is slowly dying since the late 90s, and the reason of it, is that people dont feel the same way for games. I was born in a time when games were mere pixels, but those pixels would make me lose hours upon hours of my days and i would gladly do it all over again except today, games today are based on one thing and one thing only... HYPE.
Take a look at no mas sky for example, that "game" is absolutely atrocious and a slap in the face for all of us gamers since you basically spend 60$ on a game just to look at things... period.
Remember when tomb raider chronicles and gunman came out? they were the best games at the time in their respective categories, they were absolutely fantastic from start to finish there was only one thing missing due to the lack of technology at the time, graphics but it was ok right? because we only played those games because we loved them we didnt even notice the graphics when we were little kids but today its a whole different story... gaming industry has been formating our brains to only appreciate graphics that has been the downfall of 99% of the games in this new generation... take a look at no mans sky, and crysis for example, they were just made for appreciation no more than that, 0 history, 0 interaction with the world, just kill and look at things, when we finish the game we dont even remember the story simply because THERE WAS NONE TO BEGIN WITH... Another example os this trash

This game, (if i can call this garbage a game) turned out to be all hype and it didnt live up to it at all, horrible quests, bugs/glitches everywhere, no tesselation, non sense weapons and body armors, NPC earrings, hair and clothes completely static with no dynamics at all, the map looks like a complete trash can (i know its supposed to look since it was destroyed by a nuclear disaster) and the list goes on and on...
To finish it all and to take advantadge of us (sheeple) gaming companies are getting more and more power and they use that power to slap us in the face (EA Games) , they force us to buy a game which is about 50% complete (yet you buy at retail price) and then you ll have to spend 25 or more bucks on micro transaction to have it all... Wasnt it great when 10 or 12 years ago you only unlocked characters and new levels simply by using your skill? Nah , today you can have all of that by just 9.99$...
To sum it up, stop buying games and start pirating them that will be a slap in the face for them since they have been fucking us over for a long period of time, wake up, and let them suffer a bit.
