I had the feeling you wouldn't let this one slip by :) Sadly, you were right, and so were my fears: they took the easy path and made a teen drama instead of a Life is Strange game. The wasted potential is so huge that it's beyond words. Anyone could have made a better third act than this one.
I'm quite pissed off with this one, and I enjoyed the first two acts because it seemed like they were setting us up for a big twist. But there was none beyond the "she's not your mother" bullcrap.

Haha! Believe me, I take no joy in your disappointment. I am however glad that I didn't waste my money on it though, so I guess I have mixed feelings.
I hope you got other stuff to cheer you up during the holidays though ;)
Next time you'll stop this kind of stuff easier, and not get hyped as easily. These days, when I see pompous teasers and stuff, I'm more likely to dismiss it rather than get hyped. And it's cheaper this way :p

I'm not one to succumb to hype, but this one tricked me. I guess I was a bit carried away by the overall player opinion from the first Before the Storm episode. I liked it, and was hoping it would add something valuable to the series. But no, it was just a couple of girls bitching about family drama and drug dealer issues. No tornado, no time rewind explanation, not even a timeline that shed some light on Rachel's murder events. Nope.
I guess that's what "milk it" means :)

I didn't expect weird tornado shit, but I expected some clarification on Rachel's arc... and if it's not that, or anything else that's "cool", well... fuck that shit :p

Maybe Life is Strange 2 is going to be actually good, instead of milking the franchise (despite the new setting).
Well, I don't trust those people to pull off a proper good game. We'll see :)
