Thanks Ciel! So much to be excited about! That move by Age of Rust is huge news... if it turns out to be successful for them, there's no telling who else will try it... these newsletters really just motivate me to learn all the coding so I can create my own games... I need more timmmmmeeeee......
Yeah I agree about Age of Rust! That's pretty big! There's been some feelings about the fact that Counterparty hasn't had a dev update since January and I don't know if that influenced anything but that plus EverdreamSoft looking to Ethereum as well is a big change.
Lol, I've actually been recording a series of me going through Codecademy as kind of like a weird study buddy? Maybe I should start posting them. I went through HTML, and now I'm going through Python and next is Javascipt and from there I was thinking I could focus specifically on crypto games.. Sort of like a coding series as we build something?
That's a great idea... chuck one a day on Dtube or DLive - it could be huge? I've done GitHub, Node.js and half of Javascript through TeamTreehouse. You could also maybe create exercises for your viewers to attempt? Nothing really hammers new knowledge in like teaching peeps.
Slick idea. <3 thinking Hmm.... Yeah I think it's a good thing to post up. I feel like a lot of folks in crypto space are at the mercy of devs but think it's too mysterious or hard to get into. There's some really great game engines too that you can start dipping your toes into to help you get used to how things work.
