Simcity - 30th anniversary

Today one of my favorite games turns 30 years old.
Exactly 30 years ago, Simcity was released. It has started a brand new game genre.
At the time, I was 5, living on the wrong side of the Iron Curtain, where you did not have access to computers, games, or color TVs. There was no electricity from 8pm, so the other stuff was useless.
After the times changed, somewhere in 1991-1992 a neighbor of mine got a computer. And on it was Simcity. We played in turns, 30 minutes he, 30 minutes me and 30 minutes my sister.
The other sim games have not stayed in the heart like this one. You played countless hours where you should pay attention to your budget so that the city is not broke.
I have learned something from it and always have patience, follow the plan and pay attention to its investments.

heute wird einer meiner Lieblingsspiele 30 Jahre alt.
Genau vor 30 Jahre wurde Simcity veröffentlicht. Es hat damit eine ganz neue Spiel Genre gestartet.
Zu dem Zeitpunkt war ich noch 5 und lebte auf der falschen Seite des Eisernen Vorhangs, wo man kein Zugriff auf Computer, Spiele oder Farbfernseher hatte. Man hatte auch kein Strom ab 20:00 Uhr, also waren die anderen Sachen nutzlos.
Nach der Wende, gegen 1991-1992 ein Nachbarn von mir hat ein Computer bekommen. Und drauf war Simcity. Wir spielten im Zügen, 30 Minuten er,30 Minuten ich und 30 Minuten meine Schwester.
Die andere Sim Spiele sind nicht so im Kopf geblieben wie dieser. Man spielte unzählige Stunden wo man auf sein Budget achten sollte damit die Stadt nicht pleite wird.
Ich habe daraus, etwas gelernt und zwar immer Geduld zu haben, dem Plan folgen und auf seine Investments zu achten.

I am not sure, but I think my son may have a version of this on his Nintendo Gameboy.

Cool. Never played it on a Game boy. We had some PCs where we bought the components piece by piece and assembled them after.
What was on sale each month. My first PC was a weird Behemoth with 200Mhz and 256MB(which was the max the motherboard could deal with)

I so remember playing this for hours and hours over many weeks. A classic game. When will one of those genres of game come on the Steem blockchain?
Might in the near future that somebody brings something like that. I see the benefits of the chain to lock up the town's and achievements. Also a land bought shall remain under the account.
