🎥 📷 🎮 Game development is fun - Recording the sounds for &B&W video game
When you tell someone you are a game developer, they usually think you sit in front of a computer all day and stare at the code. Here is a video that shows a different perspective on a video game creation.
This is a part of the process of making the sounds for our game &Black&White. Characters in the game will have cartoonish rambling for their voices and it is time for us to get silly. After recording the sounds we will edit them and combine them with some digitally created sounds. Well we could do it all digitally from the start, but where would be fun in that?
This one was a failed attempt, as we realized that we weren't recording :)

After recording of the sounds was done, not all work for the night is finished. An obligatory drinking session combined with discussing the work for the next week is also a part of the work! ;)

It looks super fun. I love myself to sample all kind of weird things in my music, from doors to "screaming pancakes" (not joking), even my pet rats squeaks, I have a collection of sounds made out of the weirdest things hahah. You all look like having fun there. Checking the music up next.
Yup, we usually have lots of fun, that is on of the reasons we are all working together. This is only a short part of the recording day, it was a very productive day, we recorded 200-300 sounds good part of that will end up unused, but now we have repertoire to pick from. Sorry we couldn't reply earlier, our bandwidth was drained. :(

Soon there will be more material like this. We believe there is not much sense in sharing photos and videos of our creative process or drinkups if people aren't interested in the content that we create.
