RE: Building a new gamedev team

in #gamedev7 years ago

The worst experience was when we worked on an game jam organized by a museum of contemporary arts and Croatian academy of game development Machina. After a month of work on the game, the game jam got canceled few days before the winner should have been announced. We have never finished the game, but if you are interested you can check an example of music from the game, and short description of the game here. We have also edited some photographs to represent nightmares, and they served as template for filming actual nightmares of the protagonist, you can check them here if you are interested.

that's unfortunate. i've seen your photos and heard your music. it's interesting stuff. i don't see a running game tho. anyways there's literally millions of game projects in the world that don't get finished. we're really going against the odds here but i'm gonna go for it anyways. i hope you keep going too my friend. thanks for sharing your story.

Soon :) We switched to the other project after the game jam was canceled, we are now pimping up our demo for the game and it should be released in a few weeks. Yesterday we implemented music player to the demo so people can check out the soundtrack if they are not skilled enough to finish the demo. Now we have to import 2-3 more levels, hunt down the bugs and it is done.

that's some good news. i'll definitely try your game when you release it. can't wait to see it!
