I checked out GODOT when it first came out. I have a lot of money and time invested in Unity at this point so I personally won't be switching engines unless the engine makes my jaw hit the ground and does everything I've already managed to get unity to do. :) I like the Opensource aspect, but so far that hasn't been too much of a big deal with Unity for my projects, hopefully that remains the case. There are also some things I like to use that are in C++ that don't work so well in C#, but I've learned to work around those things as well.
