Dragon Age Inquisition - The game I adore
If I remember Dragon Age Inquisition, it was my first RPG I played on PS4. RPG and adventure games are basically the only games I play. I am not good at shooting on the controller, so playing the shooters is impossible for me. My boyfriend is already familiar with it, so he got and gave me Dragon Age Inquisition. A game I spent a lot of hours with and even got a platinum trophy.
I needed to learn and do homework to school, but it didn't stop him from buying me a game, and I didn't stop playing it. I was having fun. I played it in the morning, in the afternoon and in the evening, and I was basically addicted to it. While playing in the morning, I always set the deadline until which I would play it. E.g., until 10:00. Yeah, but I was so caught in the game that I first looked at the clock at 10:05. It was already after the deadline, so I set a new one and played on.
Why the game amused me so much?
I could create my own character.
I prefer RPGs where I can create my character for which I play. I definitely have a more emotional relationship with it. So I am sorry Witcher, Horizon Zero Dawn, and others. You are great games, but I like my own characters more.
My first character was (as I say "the devil") Qunari man. I always choose some original character, because humans, elves, and dwarfs are boring.
I was horrified at the advanced stages of the game as he looks like a gay because he had makeup. In the final, his lover was Dorian, so it was OK (I would add his picture here, but I would have to install the game again.).
But he certainly did not look as bad as this elf, whose image I found on Google:
The second character was a human woman (I previously said that the people are boring, but I chose it to gain more reputation in one mission for a trophy). Unfortunately, I mistook the button and skipped the character adjustment phase, so I played with the default.

I'd rather go with Cassandra, Varric, and Dorian. The conversations between them were simply the best. It was just the best group. I like Dorian the most. He is simply the best gay character ever, and he made fun of himself.
On the contrary, I totally hated Solas. He looks like and acts like an asshole.
You can pick up every character you want. Except Leliana.
I don't want to act like a pervert, but I really enjoyed being able to start a relationship with someone and f*** him in the final. Besides, there was a lot to choose from, so everyone will find someone there: homosexual, heterosexual, bisexual, BDSM, "after the wedding" girl and Solas. Solas is the chapter on his own.
I personally picked up Dorian, Cassandra, and Cullen.
The first was Dorian. When my "devil" and he kissed for the first time, I almost dropped the controller, and I had to tell my boyfriend about that. Regardless of the sex scene. But the best and most faithful boyfriend was Cullen, who seemed to love you a lot.
I was very curious about the love story of individual characters, so I found them on Youtube and what made me the most entertained was Cullen's reaction to the friendzone. On the other hand, I felt sorry for him.
Nice graphics and different environments.
In addition to the mountains and forests that you regularly meet in all RPGs, Dragon Age also takes you to the desert.
How to get a platinum trophy?
You must finish the game on Nightmare difficulty. I am not a professional player, so I chose the easiest path:
- As a character, I've created an archer for long distance combat.
- I have regularly supplemented health potions.
- In the last boss fight I took a group with tank - Cassandra and two mages - Dorian and Solas, both of whom have Spirit skills. The most important is the Revival skill, which can bring back to life all fallen allies, and when one of the mages died, there was still the other one to make him alive :)

I played this game a few years back it was a pretty good game. I liked it better than Mass Effect: Andromeda which is newer. Both are made by Bioware but Dragon Age had better characters and a better story in my opinion whereas Mass Effect had a bit better gameplay. When playing this game I was just struck with the idea of how amazing a new updated World of Warcraft game with the Dragon Age graphics would be.

I never played Mass Effect, but I would definitely try it. I have played only the traditional "medieval" RPGs, but I would definitely give Mass Effect a chance. Nevertheless, I liked the characters the most in Dragon Age. They were like my animated friends :)
Yeah I really enjoyed the Dragon age characters. Lelianna was probably my favorite but she went all crazy at the end for me which I didn't like. I totally had her pegged for the Divine over Cassandra for at least half the game. She was always a killer but so was Cassandra. Leliana was always so careful and calculating and political. She always had good counsel and knew how to work deals where others only sought to fight. But in the end she goes a little crazy and it ruined her for me. None of the characters in Mass Effect Andromeda were nearly as good as the Dragon Age characters. I haven't played the older Mass Effect's which I hear are really good but even still I would recommend checking out Andromeda if you find it cheap it's still a pretty good and involving game.
I already have old Mass Effects installed. I just play all the Tomb Raiders now, so Mass Effect comes after them. I'm curious about what it will be about, but I do not think the game will get me like Dragon Age.
I can't say about the old Mass Effects but the new one is basically about what happens when all life in our galaxy is wiped out and the different races of the Milky Way having sent arks of people to the Andromeda Galaxy to start a new. The challenges and hey face in building colonies in a new hostile galaxy. Concept is cool but delivery is a bit weak. Could have been way better. Oh those new Tomb Raider games are great too!
I am playing all Tomb Raider games from the newest ones to the oldest, and I must say that I like them a lot. In the new ones, I appreciate the most silent kills and stealth because I am not good at shooting. I need time to target. In the older ones it is a bigger challenge, and auto aim is also great for me. I can't imagine shooting bats on my own :D
I am thinking about writing a post about all Tomb Raider games once I finished them all.
You should! I love reading other peoples takes on games. The stealth killing in Tomb Raider is really great. I love the silent bow kills.

I would like to try this game one day! I have heard many people say it is a great game. Right now, I am addicted to a game called 'City Skylines'. It's a city builder game on Xbox one or on Steam. You're welcome! I played a few RPGs including Skyrim and Witcher, and I must say that the Dragon Age was the best for me. The main reason is companions. Anytime you can switch to play Cassandra, Varric, etc. to try their spells (when you are dead you don't have other option). And thanks to making relationships with them they are like your friends :) Not like other games where you get some companion to help you, and he is a complete stranger to you.
Yes, you can create your own character, but he will never has charisma like Gerald. However nice article!
My gay devil had the biggest charisma! :D I don't care about Geralt's charisma, this is my favorite game.

Absolutely love this game. It’s one of the most overwhelming experiences on the market, containing not only the best character development found in any RPG, but an open world that’s actually polished. The artistic and visual fidelity help with the immersion, but it’s the branching, player driven storyline and exquisitely layered combat system that create something special.

Dragon Age is one of the best players; has a lot of history, has characters with their own story within the game and you can relate to them as you want.
recently played dragon age inquisition and I play the game for 80% completed, I miss a sacred dragon.
My adventure team is Cassandra, Solas, Cole (the rogues are very strong).
