Throwback Thursday: Dawn of War

Do any of you remember the video game Dawn of War?

First released in 2004 but got many expansions, the last one coming out in 2009.
It also had quite good modifications, that expanded the game by a lot, some are still being updated now a day.

The game was a port to RTS of the popular table top one Warhammer 40,000, featuring in the first release 4 completely unique races each with different play styles, something quite new and impressive for the time, as most RTS had at most 2 or 3 unique factions, if they had more factions then they shared a lot of common stuff, like for example Age of Empires civilisations etc. This set of unique factions went up with the following expansions rising it to 9, quite a feat if you ask me.

Now about the mods, I was in fact part of a mod team back then 2008-2010, if any of you remember Firestorm Over Kronus...
That was fun and it gave me a lot of insight in video games development, I learned 3D modelling, animation and a bit of programming hehe.
