Hash Rush Pre-Alpha Dates Confirmed!

We are very excited, because finally we can tell you more about our upcoming pre-alpha. Specifically, the Hash Rush pre-alpha will start on 18 December 2017 and end on 18 January 2018. In this article, we'll give you (almost) all the information you need to be entirely pre-alpha-ready. So that when 18 December comes around the corner, you can man your battle station and start building the ultimate Ernack colony.

Pre-Alpha Gameplay

The pre-alpha will start on the 18 December 2017. At that moment, anyone eligible for pre-alpha access can start playing Hash Rush, the first hash-powered RTS. While we're trying to make it as fun and extensive as possible, the pre-alpha is not a fully-fledged game. Rather, as Tractor, Set, GO! co-founder Andreea explained: "we're developing the pre-alpha as a playable mini-version of the full game". This means that some aspects of the gameplay are limited, such as multiplayer, or the use of hash-power or Rush Coin tokens. What you can do in the pre-alpha is create your own Ernack colony and collect resources, create units, construct buildings, and do a whole lot more. We hope that the pre-alpha will truly give you a feel of the Hash Rush gameplay.

Qualifying for the pre-alpha

There are three groups that qualify for the pre-alpha:

• All people who participated in our pre-sale.
• People who participated in our ICO during the first three days — between 20 September 20:00 UTC and 23 September 20:00 UTC.
• A handful of Hash Rush enthusiasts lucky enough to win the upcoming Hash Rush Pre-Alpha Competition! But more on that in our next weekly update.

So if you want to find out whether you're eligible for participation, simply check the date of your transaction, and voila!

If you are eligible, there is nothing you need to do for now. We are creating a list of all potential pre-alpha players and will contact them approximately one week before the pre-alpha starts (so around 11 December). At that point, we'll provide you with all the necessary information, such as how to confirm your access, how to download the game, and more.

The Goals of the Pre-Alpha

The Hash Rush pre-alpha will run for exactly one month, until 18 January 2018. The goal of this version of the game is twofold. First, we want to get more and more people acquainted with the Hash Rush universe. We're creating a version of the game that is fun to play and gives you proper insight into what Hash Rush is and how the gameplay will look. Our second goal is gathering feedback. Once the pre-alpha is over, we will provide all players with a feedback form. Here you can provide your thoughts, comments and suggestions about things like gameplay, look and feel, and the structure of the game. So the only thing we ask of you is to complete our participation survey — besides playing Hash Rush of course.

Looking ahead

So mark your calendars and get excited, because on 18 December 2017 you can experience the first time that Hash Rush is actually playable!
