A lot of activity today as the ADDAX game has finished its maiden round. Has largely been about shuffling tokens around so that cash can be extracted from those accounts that actually hold some! A similar process will happen when TULIPS also comes to an end, hence why in the few days before the closing date I tend to start hoarding STEEMP.

The numbers so far: there are now 197,300 tokens active and a total fund value of 1,746 STEEM (+254 STEEM from yesterday), giving an average token value, or ABV, of 0.885 STEEM cents - up on yesterday.

The large increase of 254 STEEM is obviously due to the sale of fresh tokens and not a miraculous surge in actual profits. This is reflected in the token price edging up compared to yesterday. As I mentioned before, whether we reach the next milestone of 0.970 cents will really depend on activity - we will actually get very close, so will be interesting to see.

We will, however, start to experience some of the effects of HF21, and especially the EIP component. This means that author rewards will shrivel up into a tiny ball of fluff and curation rewards, which have so far been of far lesser importance, will increase from a low base.

Whether we get a flag parade or not, we shall wait and see.

Again, for useful general advice: Don't HODL the TULIPS!. Actually, I'm pleased to see some activity in the TULIP market recently.

MAXUV is now on its final day of promotional prices before HF21 kicks in on the 27th August.

MAXUV is currently yielding 192% for each token held - this means almost twice the value in daily upvotes one would receive if powering up that same value as SP.
