For all other contestants, your creative prompts are listed below. Hopefully, they will lead you to some fun projects and some great content. Of course, if you don’t feel inspired by the Creative Prompt your line has led you too, you are in no way obligated to use that prompt.

There are nine prompts listed below. Feel free to peruse them and use any one that seems interesting to you whenever you feel like you are in need of some extra inspiration. Please share any posts that are born from these creative prompts by linking to them here in the comments below. Thank you!

@liliana.duarte and @nin0000 both chose line 3, which led to Creative Prompt A.

A. Write down ten words. Choose the one word on your list that calls out to you the most. Google images of that word. Do a five minute free write on the first image of your search. Or, if you are not a writer, use that image/part of it in some way, or alter it/part of it in some way to create a new image.

@ambaekure chose line 7, which led to Creative Prompt B.

B. Complete one of these sentences and then do a five-minute free write that begins with it. Or, use the sentence to draw a picture, take a picture, or inspire a work of art.

1: It was just another … until …
2: There was a flash of (color) and then …
3: “I thought I told you … !”
4: If it weren’t for … / If it hadn’t have been for …

@alvinfang and @blackswith12 both chose line 1, which led to Creative Prompt C.

C. Scribble on a piece of paper. Look at what you have just scribbled, try to find a shape in it and turn it into a picture or a painting. If you are not an artist, describe what you see. How do the lines feel? What does the shape remind you of? Can you find a feeling, a memory, a story, or a poem in it? If so, write that feeling, memory, story, or poem.

@rkrijgsman chose line 2, which led to Creative Prompt D.

D. Speed write or draw. Set a timer for one minute and fill a page with writing or a drawing in that time.

@musingsltd and @fynesttrish chose line 4, which led to Creative Prompt E.

E. Write down ten words. When you have your list of ten words, write a ten line story or poem where the first sentence or line uses the first word on your list, the second sentence or line uses the second word on your list, and so on. If you’re not a writer, draw a painting or make a work of art that incorporates the ten words you have written.

F. Write a list of five or more topics that come to mind. Cut up your list and put the topics in a bowl, hat, or bucket. Pull out one topic and make a list about it. It can be a “Top Ten List”, a “Bucket List”, a “To Do” list, or any other kind of list.

@lennstar and @pbock both chose line 10, which led to Creative Block G.

G. Choose a character from a movie or a book and write a diary entry for that character about a deeply hidden secret that nobody knows about but you. What is this character keeping to him/herself and how does he/she feel about it? If you are not a writer, create an image or something else that relates to this secret.

H. Think about a time in your life. Be specific. Go back to that time and envision it as thoroughly as you can. What do you see? Write that down. What do you hear? Write that down. What do you feel (both physically and emotionally)? Write that down. What do you smell? Write that down. What do you taste? Write that down. What are you thinking? Write that down.

I. Make a list. On your list, there should be one body part, one animal, one inanimate object, one place, and one person (deceased, living, famous, or not, anything is okay). Cut up your list and put it into a bowl, a bucket, or a hat. Choose one piece of paper and write a narrative based on the perspective/point of view of whatever it is that is written on your slip of paper. If you are not a writer, draw a picture or create an image that depicts this vantage point.

Thank you for playing. I hope to hear from you all again next week.

Congratulations! And thanks for playing. If any of the creative prompts seem interesting to you, give one a try.

Wow I think I missed out competition . May be Next time definitely .

I like your surrounding , You should check out @mysurrounding Intro Post .

You can join next week's.

Ahah, let's see what I can do with the A. challenge!! I'm happy I don't have to write a poem;) Particularly liked your alternatives: "If you are not a writer then..."

Hopefully, you can have some fun with it.

That's the rule number one for me!!

That's a good rule to have on top. Sometimes I need to remind myself of that:)

I need to remind myself too!! Sometimes I forget, write a large post and when it doesn't reach to people...frustrating feelings appear. Then I take a break (one day or more), remind of that rule and start again!! :)

It's funny what people like and what they don't. And timing is huge too.

Yes, timing is huge, but I still haven't found the best hour to post. It's a matter of luck to me! :)

It is to me as well. With all the new users, I think everyone's attention is being pulled this way and that too.

Oh nice, I'll get right on it.

Please share your results.

Done, it's on my blog and I don't know if I should post it here. What do you suggest?

8! I decided not to play since I voiced my number before the game started last time. Look what I get. I should have won with lucky Asian number 8. I'm playing next time for sure. : )

You did make a comment about that, didn't you? I totally forgot about it. Next time, I'll be sure to check in and see if you want to play that number.

I didn't win and you didn't make a mistake. I was just joking about playing that number the for the next game before you posted the map. I decided not to play the number as I worried that it would look like collusion if number 8 actually did come up. Which it did. So it was better that I didn't play that time. if that makes any sense : ) we are good. See ya.

I wouldn't worry about collusion. It's always totally random. I don't look at the comments before I draw the final lines, and I don't pay attention to anything other than the balance and aesthetics I perceive in the moment as I draw the lines.

I like being surprised by who the winner is too.
