We need this!

I always love to extrapolate and dream about the future of Steem and this ecosystem of DApps that we continue to see amazing developments from.

It's exciting to think about how our lives have changed and will continue to be changed by these DApps and amazing entrepreneurs and communities.

I still see a lot of people here on Steem fighting over the current rewards system. It's kind of funny to me that people are all over the system and trying to solve these micro issues by potentially affecting the macro system in an unknown way.

It is important that we keep in mind that doing things on a macro level where the outcome is volatile and highly uncertain is a bad idea!

It's even more important to remember the overarching goal of this blockchain.

The goal of this whole blockchain is to reward individuals and redistribute wealth and power by enabling entrepreneurs to create powerful DApps, applications and communities on top of the Steem blockchain.

I think a lot of people have lost sight of this vision and have become to invested in the micro actions of blogging and creating content on the Steemit platform.

They must be reminded:

Steemit is but one DApp.. the first DApp on the Steem blockchain. It is just one way to use the Steem blockchain and it is by far and away not the end all, be all.

The future is much brighter with an ecosystem of entrepreneurs and dev teams (Separate from Steem, Inc) that are all working individually to make their own DApps successful.

True power and true abundance will only be seen by empowering these micro-communities. True abundance comes when these communities grow on their own and thus, allow the network to multiply and multiply far beyond what is possible with just one Steemit!
