We offer to meet with the 10 project cities of the future. Some of the conceptual projects are only in the development stage, and others - are already under construction, in a few years to give comfort to its residents and to strike the imagination of its guests.

City without carbon emissions

If the Chinese Great City - a city without cars, the Masdar in the United Arab Emirates - a city without cars and without skyscrapers.

Masdar is already being built from scratch in the middle of the desert near Abu Dhabi. The main feature of the city will be its complete independence from traditional energy sources. Instead of oil, gas and coal Masdar will get energy from the sun, wind and geothermal sources. Thus, he will become the first city with zero carbon emissions.

Green City in the Desert

Dubai - another city of the UAE, who can become a "green" city of the future. Baharash Architecture company's specialists have created a project, which used the world's major achievements in eco-construction.

Their project includes 550 luxury villas, schools and organic farms, energy which will produce 200 square kilometers of solar panels.

Solar panels will be able to give the city half of its needs, and the use of environmentally friendly public transport will compensate for the remaining part of carbon emissions.

Simply put, the home city of the future will occupy only a small area on the ground but in the air at the level of 10-20 floors, they will grow in all directions.

Thus, it will be able to preserve the green spaces and the buildings themselves through the construction of additional modules that offer people a much larger area to live and work.

3D would be awesome!!!

Very inspiring and great hope for the future. The graphics are excellent.

Over my career in accounting I have spent much of my time in architecture and engineering firms. It's so sad to see how standardized processes have become and how much the design of unique spaces have become the exception rather than the norm. Awesome post to see what could be.

I have upvoted this content and will feature it on my daily hidden gems blog. Great content.

Thank you very much! Glad you liked the post!
