Nice of you to notice. I keep the woodpecker on my profile because it was one of my first good wildlife photos. I am trying to spread awareness through my blogs about wildlife by combining my wildlife photos with some quirky facts or my thoughts linked to the photo. That is why I still have it on my profile. The Lion Avatar was a recent foray in digital art by me. I liked my creation so I use it as my Avatar. Hope that explanation clarifies things. :)
