Start Your Weekend With A Smile

Hope everyone has had an amazing week so far, thought I'd share some of the funnier memes I have found the last few days.

I got a little pissed off this morning after finding out, that the wonderful folks in charge of making Star Wars and decided to triple down on their position. Did they come out and apologize for writing a bad script, or for destroying the core of the main characters, the same characters that we have come to love because of what the represented and stood for? No, they called anyone who doesn't agree with their film a racist and bigot, once again. I'm not really sure how that works, what usually happens when you call your most loyal customers for the last thirty years shit like racist or insult them. That's how you loose your customers, which is something the folks at Lucas just don't seem to understand, the picture below with Jordan Peterson is the be example of that.

"America's liberal arts universities have long been safe zones for leftist thinking, protected ivory towers for the pseudo-elite who earn their livings writing papers nobody reads about gender roles in the poetry of Maya Angelou." - Ben Shapiro

"The old adage about giving a man a fish versus teaching him how to fish has been updated by a reader: Give a man a fish and he will ask for tartar sauce and French fries! Moreover, some politician who wants his vote will declare all these things to be among his 'basic rights." - Thomas Sowell

Last summer, when I had too much time and nowhere to go, I read. Among other things I read "The Signal and the Noise" by Nate Silver and "Misbehaving" by Richard Thayer back to back. Silver has written the ultimate predictions and stats book, and shows expressly that Economists and Economic Theory makes the worst predictions of any group on earth. Includes Weathermen and Political Pundits.

Thayer, who won the Nobel for Economics in September explains why. Because nothing has changed in 100 years, and Economic theory holds that all individuals will always make the best possible choice for themselves.

For the record: Thayer is not a distinguished professor in Economics at Chicago University. He is a distinguished professor of behavioral theory at CU. The Econ department won't have him because he does not subscribe to Kensyian Economics.

My point: Econ professors are spouting shit about shit that they don't know shit about, while not being able to predict the Economy for shit.

Otherwise, it's all good :) Thanks Mork. You made my day.

me estoy riendo y aprendiendo jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa jaaaaaaaaaaa
