Sophism #8: Cryptocurrency Trading is Evil
Sophisms come in various shapes and sizes. Some are simple mathematical "find-the-mistake" puzzles. Others are subtle observations, requiring whole theories to resolve them. Some are deeply philosophical paradoxes, which may not have a single satisfactory resolution at all.
And then there is the genre of humorous sophisms. These are neither mathematical nor deep in any sense, yet amusing none the less and deserve their place in this list together with the rest.
Proof that Cryptocurrency Trading is Evil
First we state that cryptocurrency trading requires time and money (ask anyone who tried):
As we all know, however, "time is money":

We are now forced to conclude that cryptocurrency trading is absolutely evil!

Of course, you are free to adapt this sophism to any other concept which can be claimed to require time and money (sports, hobbies or learning activities are all great picks). "Cryptocurrency trading" was chosen simply because it seems to be a popular topic on Steemit nowadays (and because it is actually evil, of course!). In fact, when I first learned about this sophism in high school long ago, it was used to prove that "Girls are Evil!".

The LOVE of money is the root of evil.
Technically, the word "money" is at the root of the phrase "love of money" (you can replace "love" with some alternatives without changing the meaning, but "money" needs to stay for the phrase to make sense).
Hence even if we define "love of money" to be the root of evil, then "money", being the root of "love of money", would become fourth root of evil!
